LGU Pintuyan thanks the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) through the Speaker of the lower House, The Honorable Ferdinand Martin Gomez Romualdez for the generous donation of a Mobile Command and Control Vehicle with Triage Technology (𝐌𝐨𝐂𝐂𝐨𝐕). This significant addition to our resources will greatly enhance the municipality’s disaster preparedness and response capabilities.
The Mobile Command and Control Vehicle, equipped with advanced communication tools and emergency response equipment, is a vital asset in ensuring the safety and security of our community during calamities and other emergencies. It demonstrates DOST’s unwavering commitment to supporting local governments in building resilient and prepared communities.
Honorable Mayor Ricarte Amper Estrella represented by Sir Moncher Bardos – MPDC personally received the check replica during a handover ceremony on January 14, 2025. Mayor Estrella expressed his gratitude, “This donation from DOST will strengthen our efforts to provide prompt and efficient services during emergencies, ensuring the safety and welfare of our constituents.”
With this new Mobile Command and Control Vehicle, LGU Pintuyan is now, better equipped to respond to emergencies, coordinate rescue operations, and deliver timely assistance to affected residents. This milestone underscores the power of partnership between national agencies and local governments to achieve a safer and more secure Pintuyan.
