Today LGU Pintuyan headed by Hon. Ricarte Amper Estrella, Hon. Anna Liza Valmores Salinas with Evandee Dangate Ramos and Giover John Valdez led the distribution of food packs from DSWD for the residents who were affected during the 5.8 magnitude earthquake.
Pintuyan, is one of the four (4) municipalities that compose the Island of Panaon in the Province of Southern Leyte. It is located within the coordinates of 9° 57’30” north latitude and 125° 15’00” east longitude. It is bounded in the north by the Municipality of San Francisco, in the south and east by the Municipality of San Ricardo, and in the west by Pintuyan Bay.
